Adam Gagnon
From 2003 to 2006 Adam Gagnon was Manager of Applied Sustainability at the Macleod Institute in Calgary, a non-partisan consultancy affiliated with the University of Calgary, where he gained consulting experience in renewable energy, Aboriginal relations, transportation planning and government program evaluations working with Senator and former Alberta cabinet minister Elaine McCoy, QC. Adam is President of Crude Country Biofuels, a Calgary-based consultancy and technology provider in the realm of biodiesel and pure plant oil fuels and technologies for diesel engines, founded in 2003. On sabbatical, he toured to Oaxaca State, Mexico in 2004 using PPO fuels, and has spoken twice at international renewable energy conferences in the Caribbean. Adam has skills in facilitation, technical and non-technical research and public education. These skills provide a broad tool kit from which to draw in working with a broad range of clients to meet their specific needs in sustainable and profitable ways. Mr. Gagnon is proficient in English and French and is improving in Spanish. |

Adam Gagnon is Program Manager of Transportation and Energy Efficiency at Climate Change Central in Calgary. He is currently working to launch Canada's largest on-road biodiesel cold weather operability trial and is supporting a range of efficiency and emissions improvement initiatives. He is working to expand renewable energy knowledge, supportive and effective policy and market-ready energy options in Canada.
