Rob Beamish
Rob's passion for entrepreneurship and developing new businesses is evident in his previous roles. Prior to joining Climate Change Central, Rob co-founded Ellipsis Ventures and Stratavera Partners, two Calgary-based management consulting firms. Rob was also served as Vice President, Operations with Calgary Technologies Inc. where he worked with a wide variety of early stage startups from the information technology, engineering and life sciences sectors. Finally, Rob also has several years of experience in the energy sector, having worked with TransCanada in various technology development roles. Rob contributes his expertise through several volunteer positions. Rob is a board member for the Ability Society and also lectures on strategic planning for startups at the U of C's graduate program in Biotechnology. Rob is a Professional Engineer with a civil engineering degree and an MBA from Queen's University as well as a Masters of Environmental Design from the University of Calgary. |
Rob is the Director of C3 EnviroTech Solutions, a $6 million program aimed at accelerating the commercialization of new environmental technologies in Western Canada.
