Simon Knight Appointed President/CEO06/11/2006The board of Climate Change Central has appointed Simon Knight President and CEO of the Alberta-based climate change organization. "Simon has always played a key role in this innovative organization," said Alberta Environment Minister Guy Boutilier, co-chair of Climate Change Central. "His dedication and experience have earned him this position. I congratulate Simon and look forward to our continued partnership as we work together to ensure Alberta remains a recognized leader in taking action on climate change." Knight has been with Climate Change Central since its inception, most recently serving as Acting President and CEO. He is active in the building sector, participating in the Net Zero Home Coalition and is president of the Alberta Chapter of the Canadian Green Building Council. He is also the Alberta representative on the National Council for Energy Efficiency. |
