Climate Change Central has agreed to purchase clean, renewable power for its Calgary and Edmonton offices, joining the growing list of Canadian businesses and organizations that are showing their support for the supply and development of green power. “Simple solutions can make a big difference,” said Simon Knight, President and CEO, Climate Change Central. “Choosing green electricity is a practical, tangible action we can take to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Alberta.” Climate Change Central is an organization that is taking action on climate change. It aims to raise awareness and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Alberta by promoting partnerships between business, government and the environmental community. Climate Change Central was among the first EcoLogoM-certified offices in Canada.
